Preservation at its Best Nominations are now being accepted! Please share with everyone and anyone who has a Preservation success story from the last year!
Each year, Preservation Iowa, in partnership with the Iowa Gaming Association, seeks to honor individuals, organizations, projects, and programs whose work demonstrates a commitment to excellence in historic preservation. In doing so, we hope to inspire others to take action to preserve, protect, and promote historic resources.
Awarded projects will be announced on October 3 in collaboration with the City of Dubuque’s 5th Annual Growing Sustainable Communities Conference. Winning projects will be awarded certificates from Preservation Iowa, highlighted though Preserve Iowa , on the Preservation Iowa website and Facebook pages.
Nominated projects must have been completed within the geographic boundaries of Iowa and completed between January 1, 2011 and August 1, 2012. Nominations can be made by/for individual owners, corporation, developing group or organization. Property owner must be notified before submission of property/project.
