Cedar Falls has been named one of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s 2010 Dozen Distinctive Destinations! They join Bonaparte and Dubuque, which were designated in 2001 and 2005 respectively. The National Trust’s Dozen Distinctive Destination program recognizes communities that offer “an authentic visitor experience by combining dynamic downtowns, cultural diversity, attractive architecture, cultural landscapes and a strong commitment to historic preservation, sustainability and revitalization.” We are excited that Cedar Falls is on the list this year – please be sure to go to the National Trust’s website to learn more and vote them as your favorite!
