A day-long symposium focusing on the process and benefit of historic architectural salvage will be held at the Art Building West, University of Iowa, 141 North Riverside Drive, Iowa City, Iowa on Saturday, November 8, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Bob Yapp, President of Preservation Resources, Inc., will give the keynote address, “Architectural Salvage: The Ultimate Recycling.” Other speakers include Midwest experts in the field. The conference will conclude with a tour of the Salvage Barn, operated by Friends of Historic Preservation.
