The Historic Valley Junction Foundation is a semifinalist for the 2012 Great American Main Street Award.
Other finalists include the cities of Bath, Maine; Culpepper, Va.; Harve de Grace, Md.; Jacksonville, Ill.; Portland, Mich.; Russellville, Ark.; Steamboat Springs, Colo.; Washington, Mo.; and the East End of Charleston, W.Va.
The competition is open to all National Main Street Programs accredited for two consecutive years prior to applying for the award.
The winners will be announced this spring.
