Preservation Alliance of Minnesota Seeks Executive Director

Preservation Alliance of Minnesota, (PAM) is seeking an Executive Director who will provide strategic vision, creative leadership, fundraising and general management for a dynamic statewide historic preservation nonprofit. He/she will build on the organization’s past successes, expand reach and influence statewide and broaden support for the organization and its programs. The Executive Director(ED), reports to the Chair of the Board of Directors and is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. The ED provides leadership to the Board in the areas of public policy, planning, and program development. The ED is the organization’s chief fundraiser and spokesperson, and is responsible for statewide preservation advocacy and cultivating partnerships with members, advocates, policymakers, and organizations throughout Minnesota. The ED leads and directs PAM staff, and provides support and assistance to volunteers, including the Board of Directors and committees. The ED will oversee a $400,000 annual operating budget.

The successful candidate will be experienced in historic preservation with a track record of leadership and financial success. He or she will have the ability to develop relationships with and win the confidence of a range of stakeholders, including donors, government officials, members, staff and partners.
